Verify independently
- Download a batch's record and one of its .ots proofs.
- Install the official client:
pip install opentimestamps-client - Run
ots verify -f record.txt proof.otsonce Bitcoin has confirmed it (a few hours after stamping; runots upgrade proof.otsfirst). - SHA-256 of the record equals the entry hash above, and the record contains the Merkle root your proof bundle points to.
